I consider myself completely and totally blessed by God with the honor and privilege of this prestigious title. My life is very special because of my four beautiful children and my darling husband. They give me strength when I feel weak and love everyday of my life.
I am also blessed with a career that I love. For the past 10 years I have been a property manager and training director for the largest fee management company in California. This position is incredibly rewarding because of the opportunities I have to offer excellent service to my residents as well as the freedom to work freely in the community causes that mean so much to me.
Making a difference in the world that I share is very important to me. I credit my Latin roots and my Puerto Rican mother with the heart of service that I have. Domestic Violence is my platform for my reign as well as my life. Being a victim of abuse, both as a witness as a child, and then continuing the abusive cycle as an adult, profoundly impacted my life. I will continue to use my title as an opportunity too not only share my own experiences, but also to show that not only Latin women, but all women have the right to be safe in their own homes. I also want to play a part in stopping the cycle of abuse that may continue with our children.
It is with a humble heart that I represent and serve the Belleza Latina Organization as a state title holder and it is with that same heart that I compete and hope to win the title of Ms. Belleza Latina and continue to be a part of this Latin sisterhood that has truly changed my life.
